Who operates this site

South Florida Roofing is operated by Pangea Up Media LLC ("PangeaUp", "we", "us"). South Florida Roofing is a roofing request platform. We are not a roofing contractor and do not perform roofing work. Roofing work is performed by independent contractors who participate in our network.

What we collect

Information you give us in the request form

Your project: service needed, property type, roof type, timing, whether an insurance claim will pay for the work, ZIP code, city, an optional street address and an optional description. Commercial requests also ask for your role, approximate roof area and number of stories.
Your contact details: name, email address, phone number and preferred contact method.
Your choices about optional email updates and optional text-message and automated-call contact.

We do not ask for payment details, Social Security numbers, insurance policy numbers or dates of birth.

Information collected automatically

A keyed hash of your IP address (not the address itself), used to limit abuse and spot duplicate submissions.
Your browser's user-agent string, stored with your request and consent records.
How you arrived: the first page you visited, the referring site, and campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source), if any.
Anonymous form progress counts (for example, "step 3 completed") tied to a random identifier that lives only in your browser tab and is never linked to your request or your identity.

Cookies, browser storage and analytics

While you fill in the form, your answers to the first six steps are kept in your browser's session storage so they survive a page reload. They are deleted when you close the tab or submit. Your contact details are never written to browser storage.

This site does not currently use third-party analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

How we use your information

To review your roofing request and check whether a participating contractor serves your area.
To share your request with the participating contractor or contractors named to you, as described below.
To contact you about your request.
To send optional email updates, only if you opted in.
To keep records of the consent you gave, prevent spam and abuse, and measure how well the site works.

Who we share it with

Before you submit a request, the form lists the participating roofing contractors, if any, that serve your ZIP code and handle your type of project. We share your request and contact details only with contractors named on that list, and with no more contractors than the form states. If no contractor is listed, we do not share your information with any contractor unless you later agree to it.

Contractors who receive your request use it to contact you about your project. Each contractor is an independent business responsible for its own handling of your information once received.

We also use service providers to run the site: hosting, a database provider and an email delivery provider. They process information on our behalf. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with contractors who were not named to you.

How long we keep it

Requests and their consent records are kept for 24 months from submission and then deleted, unless a longer period is required to resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation. Abuse-prevention records are deleted after one day. Anonymous form progress counts contain no personal information.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you.
You can unsubscribe from optional emails using the link in any email.
You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.
You can withdraw consent to automated calls and texts at any time.

Security

Request data is sent over encrypted connections and stored in a database that is not reachable from the public website. Access is limited to authorized PangeaUp staff through an authenticated admin area. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. Consent you gave is recorded against the exact wording shown to you at the time. See also Consent and communications and the Terms of Use.
